Huge thank you to Hand on Heart (HoH) for providing essential packs

On 7 October, Hand on Heart (HoH) Charitable Trust collaborated with Caridon Foundation by providing essential packs for the homeless and rough sleepers in Merton.

A spokesperson from HoH said:
As we approach the dark evenings and an unprecedented harsh winter up ahead, thousands of individuals and families in the UK will experience some form of homelessness. The cost of living crisis is affecting thousands of people all around the UK and many turning to outreach drives and food banks for support as they struggle to make basic ends meet. With rent and cost of living rises, these are just some of the reasons why people face homelessness and the harsh reality of sleeping on the streets, sofa surfing or desperately trying to find shelter in sheds and garages. The essential packs provided by Hand Heart contain the basic necessities that we all take for granted. They provide guests with comfort warmth, dignity, and basic hygiene.”

The story of Hand on Heart (HoH)

Hand on Heart (HoH) was established in 2007 to serve rough sleepers, vulnerable groups and the disadvantaged by providing lunch parcels in West London.

Since 2019, the organisation has evolved and now provides essential items and vital services to vulnerable groups across England.

This includes providing winter warmer and summer essential packs to the homeless, stationery-filled backpacks to disadvantaged children and assisting partner charity organisations. Hand on Heart are supported by a host of volunteer families, organisations and individuals.

Respect, Compassion, Kindness, Transparency, Inclusivity

For a fairer society where the vulnerable find stability, rough sleepers are able to maintain their dignity, the most excluded feel included in society, and where homelessness is eradicated.

· to alleviate hardship of disadvantaged and vulnerable families including the homeless by providing essential items and services.
· to support vulnerable groups in the UK and overseas regardless of their colour, faith, gender or culture.
· to inspire and support a group of volunteers to enable community engagement and form collaboration with other charities to serve humanity.
